Re: Coronavirus: Information and action plan for all club members in response to the developing situation and potential venue closures affecting our club activities.
Dear Members,
The situation regarding the Coronavirus is rapidly evolving and so we can ensure a duty of care to all MK Dons Set coaches, players, team managers and committee members we are responding to this by issuing the following information to everyone involved with our clubs. Please read the information below.
What advice are MK Dons Set following?
- The club will be following advice provided by our governing body England Netball and Public Health England.

Continuation of club activities
- Training Sessions – Training will continue until such time as EN advises otherwise and/or a venue that we use is closed or cancels the booking.
- Matches – Scheduled matches and competition will continue until we are advised by EN to cancel and/or the relevant venue is closed or cancels the booking
Protocols being put in place to reduce risk of infection.
- Our club coaches will ensure that they do not attend training or matches if they believe themselves to be unwell – see attendance at training below
- Equipment will be kept as clean as possible – bibs washed regularly, equipment cleaned as per guidance issued
- Coaches & primary carers will wash / sanitise their hands when needing to give first aid
Attendance at training & matches.
- Any girls / parents / coaches attending training will be asked to wash their hands prior to entering the training or match venue.
- Any girls, coaches, parents or volunteers must not attend training or matches if they or a family member are in self-isolation or been in contact with anyone who has the symptoms.
Communication
- In the event that club training or matches are cancelled notification will be issued via your Spond group and will be posted by either your TM or coach
- Notifications will be posted out on our club Facebook page and the club website.
- Any member of club who becomes unwell with any of the symptoms of the virus MUST notify their coach ASAP.
